Sensorless Brushless Motor Reversal
If your ‘sensorless’ brushless motor is running in the wrong direction and you would like to reverse it, it is as simple as swapping over one of the wires – it doesn’t matter which one.
Some ESC’s do allow you to program them using a programming card or interface and reverse the motor that way, but if yours does not have this feature then swapping a wire over will work fine.
Sensored brushless motors
The ‘sensored’ brushless motor will need to be reversed using a programming card or interface. You can’t just swap a wire with these types, because they need the wires in the correct order (A,B,C) to function properly.
